Taking lymecycline with other medicines and herbal supplements

There are some medicines that can affect how lymecycline works.

Tell your doctor if you're taking any other medicines before starting lymecycline, including:

• indigestion remedies (antacids)
• medicines which contain aluminium, bismuth, calcium, iron, kaolin, magnesium or zinc
• lithium, a medicine used for some mental health conditions
• other antibiotics
• quinapril, a medicine for high blood pressure or heart failure
• acne medicines containing retinoids and vitamin A, such as isotretinoin
• warfarin, a medicine that helps prevent blood clots
• tablets that remove extra fluid from your body (diuretics), such as furosemide
• medicines for epilepsy, like phenytoin or carbamazepine
